Semifreddo

There's a little hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant in Hell's Kitchen that, in 2011, we began to call our own. We frequent it often, and each time we do we must order our new favorite dessert - Semifreddo. It was love at first bite and I knew I had to recreate it in a pint to share with you all. So voila - a pistachio ice cream with candied almonds strewn throughout, swirled with honey

Twelve Grapes

The twelve grapes of luck is a Spanish tradition of eating a grape with each strike of the bell at midnight on New Years. We've been practicing it for year now, and thought it is the perfect opportunity to deliver you more luck in this new year. No, there are no actual grapes in the 'scream. But, instead, we're fixing up our own rendition of the New England favorite - Grape-Nuts ice cream. With cinnamon and vanilla and a crunch throughout.
