With open arms welcome the brief fall we have here in New York City. A time for pumpkin picking, tree gazing, and cozying up with a mug of warm apple cider. Here's how we do it, in ice cream form of course. Spice up apple cider from our pals at Red Jacket Orchards accompanied by chunks of those apple cider donuts you can only find at the Greenmarket.
Molasses, My Lasses
Molasses and bourbon and maple, oh my! This ice cream was an accidental flavor crafted while throwing in whatever "fall" ingredients were in our kitchen. It needs no introduction, no mix-in, nothing - except your spoon in the pint.
